New Watchband Fails

Hello - I ordered and received a new Colt Leather Watch Band on 8/23. I had it attached by a watch expert, who told me it wasn't the exact size for my watch and that it could fail. Yesterday, I put the watch on for the first time and within 5 minutes one side of the band detached from the watch...fortunately falling on a carpet. My issues: This band was my only choice in tan leather and was said to be the right size for my watch. Also, this was the second replacement band I've purchased for this watch and I found the style of the band to be different from the original band and the first replacement band I purchased. Whie, I didn't really care for the 'new' band I went ahead and chose to use it...now unsuccessfully. I will not be buying replacement bands for this watch through Tokyobay in the future. .
